I saw him at the Colony theatre on the South side of Chicago as well. He introduced Chicagoan Barrett Deems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrett_Deems) as the world's greatest drummer, a title usually reserved for Buddy or Gene Krupa.
